How awesome You are, O God! You have taken five mommies who were barely acquainted, and made us dear friends. You sang new songs into our ears as we jogged, washed dishes, bathed our children, and sat at Your feet. You have amazed us again and again. You have revealed Yourself to us through each other and through the singing. And only You know how much all this has meant to us. We fall on our knees, Father, Because of Your Love.

"Some ladies are coming over to my house tomorrow to sing. Can you come?" And there we were, huddled around the piano singing spirituals, just for fun. Someone got wind of it, and boom! Our first gig- singing for the church potluck. "Would you sing a couple of songs for the something-or-other?" became the order of things for the next year. And Monday morning at Missy's became the highlight of the week, rehearsing with 14 (surprisingly cooperative) children in tow. Then things started to get really interesting. "We want you girls to do a half hour at Coffeehouse." We started doing our own arrangements. New songs poured out of us, as the Spirit of God began to sing to our souls. The Lord took us to a place of absolute amazement and has pretty much kept us there. He is the One opening doors before us- doing the CD, opening for Vocal Union, air-time on the radio. And it is for HIM that we do this. His will. His way. His timing. His glory, alone. "Yours, O Lord, is the greatness…"
